One of S-LAB’s core missions is to promote hybrid creation and digital cultures. To that end, the association organizes its own festival—Festival ZERØ1—which takes place annually in La Rochelle during the week leading up to Easter Monday. Spread across more than 25 heritage sites, the festival becomes a citywide journey that connects audiences with hybrid artistic practices in historically significant spaces. In addition to this flagship event, S-LAB also supports artists—particularly those based in Nouvelle-Aquitaine—by helping to disseminate their work. Each year, the association launches three open calls: one for creation, one for dissemination, and one for research-creation or hybrid research formats. For dissemination, artists can contact us through the form and describe their proposal.
