S-LAB is also committed to supporting the production of hybrid and digital artworks. Beyond its annual open calls—for creation, dissemination, and research-creation—the association offers artists tailored support throughout their production process. This includes technical guidance, creative mentoring, and access to materials or equipment when possible. Whether through official selection via the open calls or more informal collaborations, S-LAB helps artists develop their works in dialogue with current practices in art, science, and technology. This hands-on support reinforces S-LAB’s mission to foster experimentation and innovation, especially among artists based in Nouvelle-Aquitaine who are exploring hybrid formats and digital expressions
