LEGIBLE JOURNEY

Legible Journey is a low-tech, site-specific installation that transforms cycling into a poetic, interactive exploration of hybrid art, memory, and digital culture. Inspired by Jeffrey Shaw’s Legible City, the project invites participants to pedal through urban landscapes while triggering a spatialized soundscape composed of voices, stories, and sonic fragments. These audio elements—gathered during a cycling journey across Europe—evoke personal and collective memory, activating new relationships between body, language, and territory. The installation functions without screens, relying on physical movement to navigate through invisible texts and immersive environments. Created by Colectivo Linea 60 and produced by S-LAB, Legible Journey proposes a contemplative alternative to digital acceleration, inviting audiences to slow down, listen deeply, and engage sensorially with place and imagination.
